I just had my four year anniversary working for GRuB. So many things here resonate strongly with me. The biggest is the radical simplicity of our work.
We work in joy & play. We put our hands in the soil, plant seeds & work with the land. We grow food & share it with others. We plant flowers & feed the bees. We cook real food & eat meals in community. We take time to genuinely listen to each other with open minds & open hearts. We believe that everyone has powerful contributions to make.
Simple acts with profound results. High school students, who’ve been dealt a bad hand, stand taller & speak louder. People with limited incomes grow riches in their backyard gardens. Vets find a welcoming community. The Food Bank has more fresh, local produce to share.

Would you celebrate some goodness in the world by making a donation to GRuB? A big chunk of our operating costs come from donations of all sizes from extraordinary people like you. Truly, no amount is too small. I would giggle gleefully from your single dollar.
Your money will help pay for backyard gardens for people willing to grow their own food but who can't afford to get their garden started. It will pay the utility bills to keep our kitchen available for folks to learn to make their own food & medicine. It will give high school students a place to learn about systems of oppression & how to show up differently in the world.
