For the first time ever, GRuB is hosting a community-led Empty Bowls event! The Empty Bowls Project is an international effort to help fight hunger in local communities. A suggested donation of $30-$50 will provide you with a unique handmade porcelain or stoneware bowl, delicious soup, salad, bread, and dessert, and great conversation with new friends! All proceeds with be split 50/50 between GRuB and the Thurston County Food Bank. GRuB and Food Bank staff will be on-site to share stories of their programs and a guided tour of the GRuB Farm will be provided. Bring your friends and family and take home your one-of-a-kind bowl as a reminder of your generous contribution to our local community! Registration is required. The event will take place outdoors on the GRuB playfield. A large event tent will be provided for shelter from the elements.

Please carpool if you are able. Limited parking will be available along Bing Ct behind the GRuB parking sign, across the street along 20th and East End St near the Unitarian Universalist church.

Additional bowls will be available for purchase at the event.
